NMRA Pure Street buildup
Been a while since i last posted. Ive decided to run NMRA full time in the Pure Street class. I will spend all of 08 finishing and testing to run a full season in 09. If things go smoothly then its a possibility that I may show up in Bowling Green in October. I went down there this past october to the World Finals and had a blast. Here are some pics with the current progress. Finishing up some interior things before i have it sent off for a chromemoly rollcage. Got a Boss Block ordered along with some trick flow heads to be worked over by Ron at Fox Lake. Should be a pretty stout car after completion.
Cheater Intake/Carb to run at local events. Should help out the #'s since i cant run but an Airgap and a 650!
What the car should look like when complete!

Sounds like an f'ing blast!! I'm just a newb, and seeing people go all out is awesome. I've only gone to the track once, and I'm hooked. I can't wait untill the snow melts[:@]lol. Good luck on the build, and I hope you kick some ACE out there, and have a BLLASSST!

It depends really. If you are doing really well for yourself, alot of companies will ask to put thier name on the car, others will give you some free stuff everynow and then for placing thier stickers on the car. UPRproducts.com has alot of cars with stickers out there. Best thing to do is go out, enter events locally or nationally and build up stats and make a name for yourself. I try to be well dressed when at the track to give a clean image to potential sponsors. I make every attempt to make sure that the sponsors name is pushed and it gets recognized.

The front springs are from UPR. I think they use QA1's as their springs. When ordering the kit they will ask if you want 12" or 14" springs. Mine are 12". Im not sure about the rate, but the Strange 10 way adjustables are set 2 clicks from the lowest setting. The rear springs are Moroso's trick drag springs. Im actually going to go back to the stock 4cyl springs for the rear and most likely qa1 adjustable rear shocks for the back.
