what are the sizes of the speakers in a 88gt? i think the rears are 6x8, but not sure.still need the doors and dash sizes though. thanks.

whatever you buy, be careful because the rear speakers dont have much clearance on the passenger size for some reason. mine does not allow the speaker grille to be completely closed.

wierd... Mine doenst have speakers..Hmmmm... Oh yeah the 10pt cage takes carre of that.. Maybe I will get the stereo back up and running.. Doors are 5 1/4", Dash speakers are 3 1/2", and the rear are 6x8..

yeah its 3.5 components in the dash, 5.25's in the doors, and 6x8's in the rear. i suggest infinity references up front. i dont know if they make them in the 6x8 for the rear but i love the way they sound. i love infinity. but i had to settle for pioneer's in the back cuz of the rare size.

I've "mannaged" to get 6 1/2's in the doors, and yea 3 1/2's in the dash don't really do too much for ya, better off fabbing up some tweaters in there instead, and 6x8's in the rears can also become 6 1/2's without alotta effort. (i have tons of pairs of 6 1/2's layin around, components and co-ax, so i attempt to get those in there because its "free" to me to do so)

Come to think of it I had to whack the metal in there with a sledge hammer to get mine to sit flush.
