i just read in a article on here that you can use donut wheels as junkyard skinnies. i thought u couldnt go over a certian speed with them. if its true then that would be a good idea..anyone know the truths about this?

i have always thought it was the tires not to use not the actual rim that was the problem

have you ever picked up a spare tire for a fox anyway? they weigh like 400lbs. even if they have a smaller foot print for the front, I dont think they would really help but i could be wrong

Nothing wrong with using spare WHEELS... you just can't use the TIRES.

I see guys at the track doing it all the time...

It's funny, they always seem to have their slicks mounted on an old set of ten holes too. LOL

you can use the spare if your not concered about weigth to much. you just have to find the correct size tire to fit on the spare.

A buddy of mine in high shcool had a hammered 60's bug, and to get the front end even lower, he put two spares on the front (on the original wheels) and it was about a week before they were completely bald... so I guess that is why they are temporary...
