Default dart or boss block??

is the dart block worth the extra $300-$400 over the boss block? what are the hp ratings of both? also how are the world products blocks? do th stock oil pan clear them they have all the mains 4 bolt but 1 and 5 are smaller.

my question is why would you want to put all this money into buying a stout aftermarket block and (im guessing) put some expensive internals in it and leave it with a stock 5 qt pan instead of something like a 7?

the dart block will support a little more than the boss block since the frpp boss block only has 4 bolt mains on 2,3,4 mains and 1 and 5 are 2 bolt where as I believe the dart has a 5 -4 main bolt set up= 4 bolt on all mains...depending on your desired hp level make the decision...but nothing is indestructable in the world of racing

^ What he said. Even then, though the Boss will support 1000+ hp.

there are 2 Dart block the sportsman and the Iron Eagle The sportsman block has 4bolt on the 234 mains and the Iron Eagle has on all 4 with billet caps and there are more differences on the Darts but that is one of them

what i was saying is the stock style oil pans i already have a 7qt but if you buy the iron eagle dart which has 4 bolt mains on all 4 you need a different oil pan even if it is 7qt but the man o war block has 4 bolt mains on all 5 mains but #1 and #5 are smaller so i didnt know if the man o war block would fit the stock style oil pan. but i am more looking into the dart sportsman or the boss.
