Deer + Mustang = (now with pics)
Well, I nailed a deer tonight coming home from work. I was on Route 715 (a ver curvy road that connects Tannersville PA to the Effort/Blakeslee area... luckily it was on a straight right around a hairpin bend, so I was only going 30mph before I punched the brakes.... got the ****er in the stomach/hindquarters, taking my headlight with it.... I saw plastic flying over the car and thought my hood was toast, luckily I only lost my headlight....all three parts were smashed and the passenger headlight is dead, tho I luckily still have the corner lights and indicator... and the paint on the front bumper above the rubstrip on the pass. side is a lil Fubared.... he clear was all chipped off, so I guess I'll have to get it recleared. as the paint under it is fine..... must be cheap clearcoat[&:]
guess I'm getting some new headlights afterall[&:]
but I'm ok, no airbag deployment, I didnt wreck it, I only wounded her a lil bit, and slaughtered another deer...
anyone in Northeast PA have a spare headlight I can borrow?
on a happier note, I got my American Muscle Calender and my Hurst Shift **** came in, already put it on, feels much better than that crappy stocker....

I'm debating on stock clear corners or Ultra Clears....
the stock clears are 119 from CJ pony parts,
the Ultra Clears are 200, if I can find them cheaper elsewhere I will...
if I see the deer carcass on the side of the road, I'll stop and kick it a few times....lol....
can also use it as an excuse to get outta work early...
as I only have one headlight
edit, late model resto has the clear econo kit for 80 bucks, but I need new seals, as they were going bad and the pass side one is now torn from the crash....hmmm
but I need a new bulb... I dunno, I'll figure it out... gotta wait for the paycheck anyway....

can the backing plates be resused? if mine are good I can re use themI found CJs sells the seals, and getting a new bulb from advance would prolly be cheaper....
Late model restosprice is right now on sale, who knows how long it will last....... course right now, Ihave no extra cash to spend, just paid insurance andthe car payment....

pretty dark out, I'll try to see if I can get a good one.... if not I'll get one in the morning.... or after I get home from work as I cant stay late now... I'll get pulled over...
also found the stock/clear corners for 94 dollars from fox resto.com, but I dont know if I need the mounting kit, I'll have to look tomorrow, cant see too well in the dark.... I dont know how much of the headlight was really broken....
