yea put it in 5th gear going about 20 mph and lug the motor by flooring it and as the rpm's go up slowly the load increase in a high gear should cause enough strain to make it slip if it's bad and this is also a good way to check for a load sensitive misfire too.

or start the car in neutral, put it into first and quickly let go of the clutch, without giving it gas(stalling it), it should make the tires spin, if you dont move, clutch is done

shouldnt it just die? well ill try both methods.i allways thought a car was obvious when its clutch starts slipping
