of course they will.. I had a set of 245/50/16's on my 85 mounted on pony 5 stars..infact you can use 255's with very close tail pipe clearance..and with the right back spacing 275/50/15's like I got on my 85 now on a set of welds

factory ponys are 16x7 and my friend had 255 50 16 on the rear and on occasion when turning the tail pipes would slightly rub due to rear end shift

well my 225's on the front scrub when i turn hard now. im not sure whats up with that (which is why i asked about the back ones) i think the springs are fatigued a little. also something happened to the car before i bought the car that was kinda riged up back into place.

i got 275/40(?)/17 on my bullitts, i get a slight rub on hard corners, or any corner that has an incline change (i/e turning right, front right wheel goes on an incline) it rubs on the inside, but its a raised spot, i need to hammer it out,
