Default I am very impressed.

If any of you read my first post, i recently bought a 1990 5.0L Lx

And i took off all the wheels to check the brakes and such. And to my suprise, the rear end was posi!!! ( SOrry, i am a natural chevy guy ) lsd if you want to call it that.

This car is 100% stock. As far as i know. Did all 5.0's come with a stock posi? Or was i just lucky?

Its actually called Trac-Loc its fords version of the Posi-Trac rear end. All 5.0's came with them. Sorry to rain on your parade if I did. But just like the Posi-Trac the clutches wear out with alot of abuse and you will have a one tire fire going on. Then you will be investing in spyder gears and such.

Alright sweet, Thanks for the heads up. I am excited for it. I wasnt sure, this is the first ford my family has ever owned. My dad owns a 68 nova, and he had a chevelle b4 that. I wasnt sure. We have 3 12 bolt posi's in the garage.

Thanks man.

Ive got a 350 in my 71 Chevelle. But I also have a 502 on an engine hoist which is going in soon.... once I find the 4 speed I want, it's going in.
