I'm going to go ahead and raise the BS flag on this one, too.
First off, if it was actually a Cobra and the guy knew it, he wouldn't have charged you for a GT, he wouldve gotten his full money's worth.
Secondly, nobody is dumb enough to try to make a sleeper by putting on a GT body kit. Its a Mustang, even a sixxer kit is hardly going to give you that sleeper look.

My Cobra doesn't come up as a Mustang GT/Cobra, the VINs aren't shared between the two. Why would someone change the side emblems and bumper covers and leave the SVT badge on the rear? Whiteface gauges can be added very easily and as for the red calipers, it could be a 10th anniversary Cobra brake kit. If you post some pics we can be more accurate with calling this BS.
