nice, im actually going to be doing the same thing, oil pressure and water temp. I think 2 is the limit on the gauges though, anymore is just too much stuff. Question though, which would you recommend electrical or mechanical? Ia bit confused on what to choose?

Nobody makes the damn things for 79-86 [:@]. DoctorD, that is a very common question and it comes down to personal preference. I went with mechanical because i like the fact that the gauge is literally attached to whatever it is supposed to be reading, so i know it's reading accurately and that no electrical problem will mess the gauge up. People talk about mech. oil pressure being dangerous inside the car, but if you get copper or stainless steel braided line (what i got) you'll have no worries. Hope that helps.
