I just went to the Chevy dealer and got some. It was about $10 a quart like most tranny fluid.

GM Syncro mesh transmission fluid is designed for GM manual transmissions, however it is the lubricant that is recommended by Tremec for all Tremec Transmissions. It has been designed with a partially synthetic base for excellent lubrication properties and does not break down. It withstands high temperatures and functions well in low temperatures.

Tremec transmissions require 3 quarts.
Tremec will not honor any Tremec Transmission warranties unless this oil is used!

Go to your local GM Dealer parts counter.
That will be the cheapest.
Order it offline and have to pay shipping, unless you can find free shipping.
A quick Google search found it for $8.38 a qt.PLUS shipping.
Maybe with the miniscule of savings you could get a combo meal from MCd's or a 6 pack.[sm=icon_guiness.gif]

I work at jiffy lube, and we have pennzoil synchromesh, I know your not going to bring your car to them, but it's 40 bucks for a manual transmition service, rear diff too. drain old fluid put that in. But yea, it shouldn't be too expensive.

Royal Purple Snycromax for GM transmissions ding-dong

First fill on my TKO600 took a little over 3 qrts.
But drain and refill takes right at 3 qrts.

How much did you spend on your TKO ?
Why not put the best oil possible in it ? That stuff has to last a loooong time.
Go Royal Purple or go home.
