well i live in ca, smog sucks period. so far i have 3 grand saved up and was wondering what you guys would do with it according to my specs, myengine is almost stock except for bbk headers e 303 cam and C/A/i

would you guys buy a vortech v2-sq system and then rebuild later or would you buy heads and intake and buy a assembled 331 stroker small block?
or any other setups routes you think i should take

i plan on building it up anyway, just confused which way to go. The car has to be emissionable.

if your worried about emissions i woudl say the forced induction would be a bit easier to keep legal. Of course i've never really had to deal wit that so i could be wrong. If that weren't the case i say stroke it, i may be a big partial but the power my car made after i stroked it, put a good set of heads, a nice cam, it was unbelievable really.

I would buy a built 331 and heads then when you have 2k again you can just slap the s/c on it

save up 1500 more bucks and go buy a HP stage 1 turbo kit and run 10's on race gas. other that that i would get a decent set of heads (twisted wedge, E-legal)and a nice intake (Holley Systemax II, also E-legal)and spray the ****e outta it.
