Converting to a manual from an automatic?
How hard/exspensive is it to convert from an automatic to a Manual Transmission if i can find a good used transmission?
Im having to get the transmission rebuilt anyways and i have a friend that will do it for $800 which is the better decision?

RE: Converting to a manual from an automatic?
It is a pain in the ***, but for the over-all fun factor... bangin thru gears is the best..
I did my swap...Used pedals, trans, flywheel, used A9L, used harness, new clutch, billet quadrant/cable, and MGW short throw...I spent a total of 1100$ in parts. I did all the labor myself. Hardest part is removing the stock brake pedal and jamming the brake/clutch pedals in there. Search for write ups there are a ton of them available..

man idk..maybe im just lucky or do something different..but ive had the brake pedal assembly out of a 94 and a 95 within about 15 minutes...and the clutch/brake assembly in within a half hour minus tightening the bolts...did the 94 with seat in..95 with seat out ..seat out was easier...oh in the 95 i had to take the clutch/brake assembly back out..that was kinda a pain but still only took half hour..an its goin back in tomorrow...so idk ill actually time it from laying down to getting out n see what it takes me...

Do me a favor, go out and look under your dash of that SN95, then look under the dash of aFox and tell me if you can still do them in 30 minutes The underpinnings are a bit different.

lol..u got me..i only work on sn's...so i never have to worry about the workings of a fox..only one of my friends have a fox..91 vert 50..and its stored so i cant look till spring..on a happier note..got my buddies 95 done tonight n he drove it home..16 minutes from layin down with pedals on my chest to gettin out with everything hooked up...but ya i imagine the foxes are smaller probably more confined up in there...anyhow...id say since u got the car already go for the swap..its not too bad if u got a donor car or even if u buy all the stuff..just make sure u know what to get...things tend to get very specific for what u need n u may think u can make it work..but it doesnt...good luck
