Ok, so I bought this from mustangs unlimited. http://www.mustangsunlimited.com/ite...p;catkey=74-01

and i'm wondering what all needs to be done for it. ie, do i just take the egr valve off, and plug the vacuum line on the passenger side strut tower???

I believe all you do is unbolt and plug off the vaccum line and as for the electronic portion of it to trick the computer so it doesn't flag egr codes there is what is called theresistor trio mod..if you do a search there is an answer for that...I've never done it but have read about it before

Do what you said, but be sure to use a gasket on the cap. Then make a simulator to keep your CEL off...I used the drawing to make mine and spliced it into the harness. What year is you car?

THen you don't need to worry about a CEL unless you wired one in when you did your MAF conversion. You don't need a simulator, they are only there to keep you CEL off.Just unplug the sensor thenwait a week, check your codes. If you pull a 33, you will be all set. The code will let you know the ECM disabled to EGR funtion.

is this going to cause any drivability issues??? i don't think my egr valve is working anyway, and i think that is causing my idle to be messed up.
