it should yield you decent times and power....add a dyno tune and you'll be okay...they just did a article in mm&ff with those heads on a 347 and made decent power with them..so bang for the buck should be okay..but alot of people on here may not give them good reviews....won't hurt to try them

probably better with the TFS stage 1 or anything else of comparable size in a dual pattern design.

i say +1 for those heads for the price

You will need to notch ya pistons with those heads, other than that you might want to look into a steeda cam, they used a steeda cam with it in an article recently and got real close if not at 300 whp.

in my opinion for price to performance you would be better off with gt40s. I know where you can get gt40s with 1.7cobra roller rockers, valve covers, and a cobra upper and lower for 700 if your interested.

thats an excellent deal if everything is in good shape. with some mild head work and a cam, he should easily be at 300 reliable horsepower. (thats the setup im running)

Have you considered just bolting on a Vortech or powerdyne if that is all the power you are looking for..

so i have to notch the pistons to use the patriot heads? what aluminum heads are a direct bolt on like the GT40s which ones do i want the Ps or the Zs. i really want stuff that i dont have to modify things for the fit, i want bolt on and go.
