Default black moldings

so the car is going for paint and body work on sat. However, to save some money i am not having the black moldings around the bottom of the car, nor around the windows painted. What would be the best way to pait these? take them off? Tape off the area around them? What paint should i use?

also, on my drivers side quarterpanel just behind the tire the plastic molding broke. is this a piece that i can junkyard easily back on?

You can take them off and use a spray can
