RE: GT-40 heads
heres your answer. they made 24 rwhp (maybe 40 at the crank) with stock gt40 aluminums, steel will be about the same. pick out a good cam, port and polish, mill em a little, etc..... youll make alot more than that. people underestimate the gt40's, but with some easy portwork on the exhaust side, they will flow ALOT better. Im going o do a write up with pics of my cobra gt40 port and polish soon.

RE: GT-40 heads
thanks alot! I love the idea of the steeda #19 cam for my car...but it only has a 115or 116 LSA. Does anyone know of a 94-95 friendly cam that is lopier and more muscle car sounding, like a 113-114LSA?

RE: GT-40 heads
I put a set of portedGT40Ps that came from Fox Lake on a 94' GT some time back. The customer had me put on a Trick Flow Street intake and stage 1 cam also. He had supporting mods already (throttle body, mass air, injectors, etc.). There were some minor idle problems thatgot worked out through tuning. That car made 270rwhp and 320rwtq. It sounded good and ran low 8s in the 1/8.

Ask onyx about the cam, he says it sounds pretty nice for the steeda, and the aluminum 40s are a lot better than the irons they got bigger ports and valves, the best you can get out of steel 40s is about the same as aluminum 40s.
