I've seen it hurt quarter panels when you lose it and smack into something.
My friend did it and hit a curb. Broke the axle off flush at the housing.
I've owned mine since new in 88 and I have done a few in the snow and one in the rain. Just doesn't do anything for me

If you're 18-21 nothing you hear here will probably stop you from doing them. I'll tell tou this. If you're one of those ***** that do them without shifting into 2nd and just smoke them in 1st forever (cause most punks can't keep them going in 2nd), you'll end up with a POS that has a drivetrain looser than a whoooooores ***** and a motor that ticks like a knockoff swiss watch. I always preferred straightline burnouts for distance and colour, without powerbraking...Dude, everything gets punished doing them...tires, driveline, suspension, everything. Your ole fox will be grey fox in no time...

Mostly just your wallet, since tires are damn expensive. It is possible to screw up just about every other part of the drivetrain, too though. So they're not recommended, but usually they're harmless.

well i am 18...i did them in my 4 banger before...that didnt last long haha. but yeah tires are way to expensive, these tires are shot tho, you can start to see the steel in them [&:], can sat for 6 years and these tires were left on it, they were dry rotted and what not, prolly gonna go for some new ones this week.. but yeah i agree with you guys. ill let my idiotic friends do it and ill watch em haha
