suggestions of conversion of AOD to T5

Im converting my AoD to a T-5 any helpful tidbits or suggestions?

clutch
flywheel
5 speed ecm
crossmember
t-5 tranny and bellhousing
clutch pedals and cable
and have fun doing the conversion... the pedals suck to put in!!!

If you're gonna race it, keep the auto and build it. You'll be glad you did.

why is the auto better for racing than the manual? im gonna keep the auto in case i ever get the urge to put it back in. Everyone keeps telling me the pedal is gonna be a pain to put in. I have the Transmission, the Pedal and the bellhousing. any specific kind of shifter?
