"Ford Genuine Parts" made in Mexico sticker on the box.

they will tell you its discontinued because they dont want to be bothered having to order such a small part if they dont have it and it has to be shipped long distance. if it was discontinued even autozone wouldnt carry it

Is it adviseable to use an inlet restrictor on the heater core also...to extend its life? I've heard that, yet some folks act like I'm talking gibberish when I say it.

discontinued?? I bought one a month ago for 54 dollars from ford.....came in the ford box.......actually if you can find a valeo heater core it'll be the same as the ford one...that's what mine said on the sticker on the core when I pulled it out of the ford box
