Just wanted to know what i need to do to make it work. I only plan on useing the short block. I know the firing order is different can I make it work just by changeing the distributor or will it need more... I just want it to run again... I plan to rebuild the original block with some upgrades but spring/summer is around the corner and i can't just leave it parked!!! Thanx for the help guys!!!

You will have to do a cam swap if you plan on keeping it EFI...the injecter firing order won't change. Other wise you should probably be fine.
