Hi guys I'm looking into getting a new car and was wondering which you guys could prefer. Here's the Pros and Cons of both, in my opinion.

Cobra Pros
Good looks (Especially lowered)
Probably lower miles
More power
Usually more reliable

Cons
Don't know as much about them
Harder to make power?
More expensive
Higher Insurance


Fox Pros
Still really great looks
Cheaper
Easier to mod
Cheaper insurance

Cons
Won't be as reliable
Higher miles
Doesn't have the appeal of a Cobra


What are your guys opinions?

gimme a push rod over a modular ANY day of the week...but id go with the 99/01 cobra too, its just a better car..

Just get the cobra throw on an intercooled supercharger and you got 450whp that sounds a lot easier for making power than rebuilding a complete 5.0 engine and supercharger just to get 450.

Well they both have their pluses and minuses. There will always be people that prefer the pushrod engines.

cobra DOHC any day of the week. give me fast and reliable over the slow and tired pushrod motor. the DOHC motor will also be better on gas then the 50

I'm sorry, but the 99-01 cobra will sound like pure sex with full exhaust. The fox will never sound that good, and it will be easier to make it look really good than a fox.

i disagree, yeah the modulars can sound amazing, but to me, in my oppinion, modular exhaust note has nothing on the pushrod exhaust note...the modular just seems to be lakcing the "*****" behind the exhaust..it just doesnt sound as throaty and gurgle-y

I guess it's just preference on the hollow/growl modular sound, or the deep throaty gurgle of the pushrod motor.
Don't buy off of sound though
