well i replaced the smog delete pulley with my new one from 50resto..great piece, nice metal finish, it looks great in the engine bay..great replacement for my sh*tty eaten through broken plastic one I had on there...put that on, put the belt on..and my car is fine now :) (for those that read my "SOS!!" thread)..filled it up antifreeze, she didn't get above 150* all night, it made me happy.


i HATE having the stock H on, the car feels so much slower..it also smells like a burning christmas tree..are my cats clogged or something? or is just from the H pipe not being used for a while...

Smog **** sucks, did you get the rest of it off or just the pump?

the pump was already off, the previous owner did the delete...but he put some sh*tty ass plastic delete pulley on there, and it got like eaten through...so i had to repalce it...

i'll try and get you some pics ASAP pro...ill get pics of the new pulley, the old sh*t pulley, and the new one installed

did you pass your inspection?

I guess when the weather gets a tad nicer the OR pipe will return?


my area doesnt do the sniffer/visual test tho there are rumors Ive heard that it may be coming...

if thats the case, the state better pay for some high flow cats or I'll have to slip my mechanic a few bills;)

the o/r x pipe will be going on as soon as i can get it done haha

I hate the stock h pipe on my 86 for a month or so before i installed the exhaust the previous owner bought and new got around to putting it on....buti didnt notice any smell? only thing i smelled was oil burning off the headers. Sounds like the cats tho.
