Gentlemen:

I have a BBK SSI upper and lower intake w/ 24# injectors, adj fp reg, 75 mm throttle body, 75 mm maf, pulleys, headers, h pipe, 3.73 gears.

I made the mistake of putting the intake on before heads and cam and now I need to go back and upgrade the reast of the top end. Do y'all have any recomendations for a head and cam for the BBK intake?

AFR 165 or 185's and a custom cam would be nice.Im running some 185's and a comp xe274hr w/ my ssi

It all depends on how much your looking to spend, gt 40's and a e cam are nice and you'll get power out of them, but if you got the money i would go with alluminum heads and a pretty radical cam!!!

whats considered a radical cam? with afr 165's?

The best camshaft is a custom camshaft. It can be as tame or radical as you want it.

Thanks for all of the help. I called BBK and the tech guy said that the wholeheartedly recommended the afr 165s and a crane cam w/ hydraulic rollers.

That is probably the direction I am going to go.
