my thought exactly , gt40's or afr's , i was even considering canfield heads from jegs but i am still researching those .

UPDATE

I got my car back and everything seems to be tops... Patriot (Gunner) did just what he said he was going to. They did a two day turn around and got them shipped back. Mechanic put them back on and the car is running better than it has ever run. Low end torque is back and no more smoke, at all. I am once again very happy with the situation. Time will tell if the fix is permanent.
