thanks guys. Where would i check for bad wireing? under the hood, dash or what? If so under the hood where about? at the firewall or by the computer?
it has normal problems like the speedo bouncing and the turn signals. Not sure about the ash tray door though hahaha

look for rust, look every where in the engine bay under the car, and while looking look for crinkles in the middle, they would indicate and accident

you said the front bumper had some damage , i would check the lower section of the cor support they seem to be really week . this would show the sevarity of the wreck real quick , but as the rest for 2k and it is a 5.0 if it runs good and shifts proper i would go for it .

Ran a car fax last night bought the car today. Seems stong, one of my moms girl friends husband actually is building an 86 gt so he came with me. The only thing we could find wrong with the car mechanical wise was the bushings for the motor, not the mounts, the bushings. Car runs strong, drove it 40 miles back home, everything seems fine.

if you are talking about the bushing that is inside the mounts, than you will need new mounts. Im pretty sure you cant just replace the rubber
