H/C/I Teardown Questions?
As seen in pics, im currently doing my H/C/I and everyone tells me to go with special GT-40P headers for the heads. When took out the stock headers and tried to put them on my new heads and they fit without a problem, whats up with that?
Any of you guys, which can is better for an AODE transimssion, its eiter B cam or E cam. I heard e is not really good for AUTO. I need help ASAP.

maybe your headers weren't stock...i personally don't know if the stockers would fit. Maybe they do, but 99% of people doing H/C/I have aftermarlet headers on there already so they may have to swap to an a/m header that fits...

its not that the stock headers will bolt up all the smallblock headers will bolt up to the gt40p its sparkplugs that are the issue the wires tend to rub the headers if you can make them work go for it some guys have used some non gt40p headers and made them work dimpled them used small boots for the ends of the plugs whatever works Ijsut went the easy way and bought a set of headers for the gt40p

Ya it is the spark plugs that cause the problem, with stock headers you will have a hard time getting your wires not to burn off
Also why wouldn't you want to replace the stock headers, look at them they are horrible[8D]
