Default After Market Control Arms

Well I finally did the nasty and installed the after market boxed control arms, upper and lower with UPR Spherical housing bushings in the car this evening. Let me tell ya, I did have help and this was my first and will be my last time doing that job. Man I had no idea that it was that much of a pain in the butt to do it. Job took a couple of hours at least. As the money has piled up in this project, I find myself even harder to look at in the mirror and not ask myself why didn't I just buy a car that was already built. Take my advice, save your money and buy one completed. Glad it's over is all I can say..

Haven't installed the motor and trans yet. But with new hard parts and shocks, just pushing on the car it seems really stiff in the tail end where it felt kind of squishy before.

Actually buckled motor and trans up today. Took out an azz load of un-needed wiring and junk for computer controlled car. Engine bay has cleaned up 10 fold in just 10 minutes of removing un needed wiring. I can see it coming together any day now, but have to go back to work Wed. morning for 14 more days. Should be running and driving when I get back home from the next hitch.
