rajun, i'm away at school, dunno if you are, so that makes a difference for me..i really just don;t have the time to do it all...and the $500 for weatherstripping and all the work isnt being done at a shop, its being done by a buddy of mine, i know him very personally and know that nothing bad will happen, he's a good guy...i also know if i had a shop do my heatercore and weatherstripping, it would WELL exceed $500


and thanks blk, i know your pain, its just one thing after another...its getting really old and annoying

Thats cool man. No, im not away, so that does make a difference I suppose.

Heater cores are a HUGE PITA!!!! I did mine on my 65, and would much wrather pay someone else to do it.

yeah, my buddy commutes to school, and has time to work on his all the time, big difference lol

hahahaha, my dad is away on business in illinois, and when i told him it happened he was PISSED, and then when i called him last night and told him bout the hole in the exhaust, and how the whole catback was f*cked up, not just the driver tailpipe...his response was "we are burning that place down", he was raging..they're lucky they worked with me, otherwise i woulda let my dad loose, and that woulda gotten real ugly
