Why is the crank so hard to turn?
Im trying to adjust the roller rockers but when i turn the crank with the ratchet is so hard to turn, and when it turns i hear air getting stuck inside the pistons, like the valves arent opening, but the valves are opening,is that normal? If I did something wrong what is it?

RE: Why is the crank so hard to turn?
The reason it is so hard is because when you turn the crank, you are creating compression in the cylinders. That compression is what makes the crank hard to turn. I assume that you have the spark plugs out, and are finding TDC on each cylinder before adjusting the rockers???

What is the size of the tool you're trying to turn the motor over with? Yeah, if you're using a 10" ratchet as apposed to an 18" breaker bar, yeah I could see the problem.
Leverage, let it work for you.

Definitly take the plugs out, on a side note i still never even got my balancer totally on, i tried holding the brake while car was in gear and having another person hold it with a pry bar with bolts in it, its almost there, any ideas cuz its about the only thing holding me back now.
