if you have a hook up at a shop, have them weld in material in the combustion chamber and grind/reshape it for higher compression w/o the chance of ptv issues. to get to 10.5 would be kinda scary just milling them alone. my rule of thumb has always been to keep compression under 11:1 and ive always been fine in cali running 91 octane. just retard the timing a little to make up for it. are you gonna get bigger valves?

no im not getting bigger valves. just porting and polishing. about the higher compression i may not do it. im still unsure. and if i do it not going to be much. 10 to one might be to high and i dont want to have clearance issues.
