Opinion on selling 89 Lx
I have an 89LX Automatic.Im getting ready to have it painted and original color is black and I guess I will keep it black
but I was thinking of putting white or silver stripes down the middle to match my cobra wheels.
Will this hinder or help me sell if I decide to sell it.Ive heard try to keep all original but I also know stripes look sharp and add eye appeal to the car.I woulld like to change the color because I hate black but a color change definetily can bring down the value

Black is a good colour for a seller. As long as the body and prep allow it.
As for stripes, as a buyer. I'd rather see no stripes.
I don't think colour brings down the price of a typical 10-15 year old car. At the collector stage, for sure. The uglier the colour, the more the value.
