Yes, its probably one the most used intakes. the original rpm manifold is the better of the 2 but the typhoon has shown to perform very well after itsports have been cleaned up. mm&ff magazine used one and it out perfored the cobra manifold.

Cool. Do the two swap? Say could I take a Typhoon upper and a Performer lower and use them together with no problems? I think that's the setup this guy used, because he has "edelbrock performer RPM intake manifold" in the listing but on the upper in the picture it does not have "Edelbrock" written on top. My reference was this picture. He also mentions in the listing that the heads are ported and polished.

Yes it is a pretty decent manifold. Its power is supposedly good to 6500rpm. Yes, you will need to clean up the ports, as they are abit rough. i am actually getting one off a buddy of mine as soon as I can come up $350. Its NIB and polished too. I currently have the original Performer 5.0.

Good money spent if it's Twin tbos..looks like a nice thought out package. I run the typhoon...numbers in sig, same performance I had with my RPM in place...no change with the swap. No grinding on the Intake either.
