iv had mine on my car for that long, driving in rain and all weather, and my mufflers are new as the day i got em.. all you need to do is a little maintinence on em, in the form of metal cleaner when u wash your car

I didn't vote because I don't know what you are looking for sound and volume-wise. WhenI do my catback I will most likely be going with the Magnaflow (not packs). They have a good tone, but are not too loud when cruising around and have a nice bark when going to town on the gas. The full stainless is nice, too. I helped a friend install a Magnaflow on his Camaro and it was straightforward and the instructions were very good. It also sounded very nice for being a V6.
If you go with the Magnflow, check with one of the guys in the 4.6 section. I think his s/n was 4.6GT01or something like that but awhile back I remember him posting all over how he could get Magnaflow kits for $319 shipped (as opposed for ~$500 +shipping most places). I'd check to see if that was still possible.

mine rusted from the inside out, the outsides still looked like new when the baffles were rusted out and floping around inside the mufflers

is that so??? hmmm then why are mine still in pristine shape and sound awesome as heck!!??? oh and mine are 4 years old [&:]oh and I didn't vote..didn't see any decent choicesIMO

I chose Bassani [sm=pimp.gif][sm=pimp.gif][sm=pimp.gif] because that's what I have and it sounds SICK. Magnflows sound good too on 5.0s but I think the Magnapacks are too raspy. If you want a muscular sounding tone get the Magnaflows and if you want a very loud exotic sound then Bassani ftw!
