68-75 302 block castings?
hhey guys i was looking on ford stroker.com http://fordstrokers.com/347-liberato...lock-p153.htmland i was wondering what the ddifference between the present 302 bloc kand the 68-75 block wich is a $100 upgrade?

well for one they are non-roller cam blocks and to use a roller cam in them they will require a 450 dollar set of retro-fit lifters..just ask woody..I almost did that upgrade to my 347 build he is doing and the earlier blocks are suppose to be a little more durable and have thicker castings in the main web up to the lifter valley.. the block to get if you could would be a mexican 302 cause it has thicker main webs not by much and has the heavy duty 289 hi-po main caps

those expensive lifters are actually better and help with rpm
