A beefier transmission wouldn't hurt, given the abuse they see from their drivers in many cases.

Hey what is wrong with the rear drum brakes? They where good enough for the Pinto and Mustang II ! LOL
Heater Core +1 - Have to say though my 79 coupe with no-AC was easy to get to. Open the glove box ALL the way and there where 2 screws holding a cover for the heater core and it slid right out.

I know rear disc would add more cost but atleast make it an option, it was standard on the 84 Svo so you have the parts

Yeah it would have been nice course 87 - 93 if you wanted factory 4 wheel disc you bought a Saleen same stuff as the SVO & Lincoln Mark VII's. 84 - 86 Ford was trying to sell the SVO's so I am sure they reserved 4 wheel disc to them as a selling point. Thing is the lowly Ford Escort at one point during the fox body run (not sure what years think it was 90's) had 4 wheel disc brakes!

once i sat in the back seat of my hatch and i'm only 5'10" and i didn't fit at all, but on the other hand it's hard to drive from the back seat so i guess that doesn't matter

thats why they should have just skipped the fox, and built the SN

but atleast we allowed ford to screw everything up in the foxes... otherwise, the Sn wouldnt be as perfect as it is
