Hey what is wrong with the rear drum brakes? They where good enough for the Pinto and Mustang II ! LOL
Heater Core +1 - Have to say though my 79 coupe with no-AC was easy to get to. Open the glove box ALL the way and there where 2 screws holding a cover for the heater core and it slid right out.

I know rear disc would add more cost but atleast make it an option, it was standard on the 84 Svo so you have the parts
