Default RE: Dyno on thursday**UPDATE**

Update:

Stang is at the dyno today (saturday) and on the first pull this morning(with no tune and 10* base timing)just to get some baseline #'s the MAF sensor pegged at 4200 rpm. He said it was putting down around290hp when it dropped off at 4200. He is putting in a bigger mafthis afternoon and should have it finished up this evening. It had one of those Summit bullet style MAF sensorswhich apparently are junk. He also said the BBK CAI inletpipe from the MAF to the TB is holding itback too. Gotta junk that as well.

stay tuned boys

i think those 24lb injectors will be holding you back more than anything else.

heres my soon to be setup:
fordstrokers 347, 10.25:1 compression
canfield 195 heads
camshaft innovations custom cam
holley systemax intake
pp 70mm throttle body
comp cams 1.6 stainless rockers
frpp 30lb injectors
walbro 255 fuel pump
pmas maf 75mm
bbk equal length shorties
bbk hpipe and flows dumped

woody said this motor should should make about 425-450 crank horses

Valve springs in the patriot heads are junk. Best pull we layed down 314hp and 351tq but hp peaked at 4800. Took a nose dive once wegot over5000rpm. Ordered a new set of springs this morning and will be pulling of the junkers this afternoon. Should have updated numbers later this week when we get the car strapped back on the dyno. Everything else seemed to be ok....we got the MAF problem straightened out yesterday pulled those numbers I listed above and then every subsequent pull we made less power.

FYI if you buy patriot heads buy them bare and then have them assembled by someone using quality valve train parts. I am going to go ahead and replace retainers and locks as well.

More to follow....

a better piece of advice is not to buy them at all
