RE: good car?
at 86000 and it needs a t-chain???...hmmm why?? either it has deeper issues and you'll be into a money pit or it has a engine drivability /performance issue...could be opening up a can of worms with a add that starts out ..."just needs a ......"[&:]

it may just be me, but the body panels on that car dont look like they line up right at all. and you kinda have to think, that the next one is selling for $2K and it doesnt even have a motor or transmission. so you prob arent getting a good car for $1200

first off...since your in the market, pay for the month long "carfax"
unlimited checks and your gonna want it.
i guarantee it has 186k which isn't so bad since it's only $1200 , and carfax will show the real mileage. every time a car goes into the dealer for service, changes titles to new owner etc...the mileage is documented.
if the car is solid.....and not a bunch of broken interior parts....jump on it
you might have some work to do, but it will be worth it.
check it out good...typical rust spots are where the ground effects bolt on, under the hatch on the lip just under , underbody
bad floors are big work , swapping out a fender on the other is no biggie....and they are cheap, you can used good sheet metal for like $100/fender, $150 complete door

RE: good car?
look at it this way....in that picture it is in the snow...how many winters of snow has it gotten? check for rust IMMEDIATELY!!!
also, check wiring harness that it hasnt been eaten by critters (happened to mine) ask about parts that have been changed such as starter, clutch, fan clutch...stuff like that.
if it has rust and you wana go for it, install subrame connectors, that way at least the chassis wont break on you
