Default AFR 205's on a stock 302?

Yes i know this is a HUGE head to put on a stock 302, but im just wondering if i would be able to notch the pistons to make them fit, and would a loose a load of drivability? the engine will eventually be stroked to 347, but im on a tight budget right now and am doing everything in small packages, i would put heads intake, and possibley a cam on. Then wait a year or two to save up for a really nice short block, possibly adding nitrouse in the middle? this is not a DD so im not to worried about drivability.
ANy thoughts?

That is definatly a big head for a stock bottom end. But you do plan on doing larger things in the future so i'd go for it. Those are good heads for forced induction, so you might wanna look at that with your future build too. I know a guy that had a 700HP fox with those on it....So they are capable of alot.

ya i know, i was thinking about a paxton and a little juice.....but we shall seee what the future will hold. Im just curious if this is feesable or not? cause if it is going to be to much of a pain in the a$$ ill probably just stick with 185's, (Which i know will work on a stock bottom 302) and still make great power

if you had any clue what you just said you wouldn't of said that!!![&:]....205's are to big for a stock 302 and it would need to be one wild 302 for 205's to even work...heck 185's are what I'm using on my 347 and 205's won't be neccessary for my project as I'm not building a super wild 347
