I am curious now, since mine are virtualy gone I should replace them. Since you just did it would you be able to tell me what you need to do besides taking out the screws in the fender well and below the effects. Is there some kind of clip on the fender or something that I may break.

You can find them on EBAY everyonce in awhile. I got mine for around $50 shipped for all of the brackets minus the lower rear bumper supports.

There's 2 metal brackets behind the ground effects in front of the front tires.
2 brackets behind the ground effects behind the front wheel.
1 long bracket under the doors.
I think 1 bracket behind the doors
But if you take your screws out. The ground effect will still come off. Just pull up and then pull to one side or the other. They're usually all filled with dirt and stuff. So they're always tight

Not that this is funny, but there is a door swipe at Home Depot that has the exact same dimensions as that piece for $9.00.

Your just drill the extra holes.

Anyhow, when replacing this, a good idea would be to undercot, powerdercoat, or pait to prevent it from rusting another 20 years.

Drill out the rivets, instal new rivets.

If you are talking about the the fender extension brackets, I just had everyone of mine replaced when I had the car repainted. Got them all from the dealer without issue. Don't know what I paid for them all in total because the bill included so many different things. But at least they are still available.

Door swipe/sweep. You'll find them in the hardware isle with all of the barn hinges, front door weather strips, window A/C insulation, and fire extinguishers (Home Depot employee for 4 years... Represent)

Get both lx bumper covers, lx tail lights and leave the ground effects off.

dealer cost is around 290 for everything includeing new rivets , i fabed mine out of sheet metal in the spots that were to far gone to be saved .
