Head lights
Can someone please give me a good recommendation for a good light bulb for the stang? I have heard that the SilverStar ULTRA are not good. I want something bright but I don't want to get HID's. So can someone give me a good bulb to buy please. Thanks

I had Silverstars in another car of mine and I wasn't too impressed with them either. I also had a 200A alternator in the car, so I know they were getting plenty of juice. They were still living after 3 years when I sold the car though, and they were the DRLs too.
I'm going to try the HIDs next time. They're not that much more than the Silverstars.

The ebay kit that Adder bought does high and low beams and comes with balasts (ie, real HIDs). $110 shipped... I paid like $50 or $60 for my Silverstars.. So, I guess that's twice as much, but not a lot more in terms of dollars.
Anyhow.. Good luck on your search. Maybe you'll find something better than SS's, but cheaper than the HID kits.
