My drivers side wiper only goes from rest postion to like 3/4 of the way that it should go. Leaves like 6" off to the left of my line of sight where it doesn't hit. Also a while back I got new wiper arms from Napa, and they wouldn't even touch the windshield. I put them on and the blades were like 2" away from the touching the windshield, and I was screwed cuz it was raining and I had nothing else to drive so I just bent em to fit.

So question is, is there anything I can do to get more travel out of my wipers, and have any of you bought replacement wiper arms that actually fit?

ya i see that a lot at work back wiper arms being bent and then after people buy new wipers they b*tch how there junk when really there arm is bent.

lol I DD my pony, so whether rain or snow, I'm drivin it. I'd really like to get these wipers to function like a normal car's do, lol.

pastfast, unscrew your plastic cowl panel and take a look inside... it sounds like you have a linkage bushing issue

So what am I lookin for, a worn or non existant bushing I guess? You're thinking that theres enough slack that it's taking away from my wiper travel? I haven't gotten a chance ( well I had the chance I just haven't done it) to inspect it. I'll take a look at all that though and see what it looks like.
