Ceramic will last the longest and will retain the heat the best. If you can afford it, go ceramic.

if you plan on doing any major motor work later on that will require long tube headers... either buy them now, leave your stock headers on, or just buy a cheap set of unequal length shorties.

it always sucks buying exhaust parts 3-4 times

its a GTS so ive decided i dont want to mess with the engine...just finish up the exhaust and maybe some other bolt on stuff like underdrive pulleys or stuff like that, but not anything that would be to hard for me to remove if i had to sell it....so after the headers ive decided im just saving to get it painted

cool sounds like you got it all planned out. If your on a tight budget I say go with unequal shorties. You can get summit brand ones for 99 dollars and they flow WAY better than stock. They are actualy the same ones as BBK but just no BBK logo and cheaper.

I have ceramic, and the dam things are rusting at the flange, ya tell me bout it. I have bbk chrome on my 91 and ya they turn a blue purple color but i think they look cool. Like stated above if you dont want to spend alot of money just buy the summit brand.

I had the JBA Nickel Plated Headers and it took them about 2 years before they started turning the blue color. I had thosesame headers Ceramic Coated and the still look the same they did 6 years ago.
Like everyone has said; if you've got the extra $'s get Ceramic Coated.
