i really wanna do it the color of my car which is a factory ford color maroon i dont know the exact name of color. but where would i be able to get this color in a can. i think a black engine bay would look stupid without your car being black anyone got pics?

If it's factory paint you should be able to google and find the color. Black can go with alot of colors but i agree with you, i dont thing black would look good with your paint.

Automotive paint distributors should be able to mix up some for you. Get the paint code and and go talk to them.

I Paid 13.00 for the can that I Painted the nose with. This is also a great way to sample a color change concepts.

just about all of the 65-68 mustang engine baysthat i have donewere paintedblack. the cars were red, blue, green, white. ithoughtthey all looked good in black. i amin the middle of smoothing mine out now and seriously thinking about going with black.

ya i really like the semi gloss black engine bay. I'm painting mine now, so ill post some pics when im done.
