a friend of mine is selling a 5.0 5 speed 87 mustang gt all it needs is clutch line adjustment, rack and pinion bolt tightened and fuel pump. 600 bucks should i get it??? he said he kept up with 5.0 cobras. im thinking about getting it and dropping an e303 cam with more mods what mods should i get to get this whip in the 13's?

Buy it ASAP, 600 bucks for a running 5.0 and non-grinding T-5 is worth atleast that. Get some heads for it, thats the weakest point

i would pick it up in a heart beat . but you can not run an e303 in a sd car unless said sd car is converted to maf . check out the speed density section for ways to get that pony runnin in the 13's . you can not run any fms cams due to lobe seperation has to be at 114 degrees seperate, and most of those are either 112 or 110. if the car has been converted to mass air then by all means go with the x303 or e303 . far as heads i would look toward afr

either pick up the fms conversion kit or go shopping around the bone yards for 89 and up 5.0's to get the ecu mass air meter and wireing from it to convert. i would keep it sd if it was me by i am privy to the sd injection .
