Default What should I get?

Ok I'm figuring I'll have $1000 to spend of my tax return money! But I dont know what I should buy!!! I have a 87 5.0 with MAF conversion, fenderwell CAI, Fcam, gear drive, and everything else is stock on the motor! I alsohave 4.10 gears! So I dont know what I should buy! I'd like to get a decent set of heads but I cant find any! Any suggestion for some power adders? No NITROUS...... at least for now!

Thanks for any help

Joe

get yourself a gnarly intake... trickflow r series is pretty good and will run you about 600 w/ shipping, then go to blueoval and get a 75mm tb and egr spacer

you can buy a decent used set of heads for 1000 dollars

or get some gt40-gt40p heads and a cam for a few hundred, you will definatly feel that

come on fastblack, don't you know that that intake with its 3000-8000 rpm range is PERFECT for his pretty stock 5.0

if you wanna get an intake manifold, look at the TrickFlow street heat, or track heat, or Edelbrocks, or Holleys...they are all good

check corral.net/forums they have GREAT classifieds over there, its where i bought my car from...you can get a good deal on used heads

Ok, I was lookin at the street heat intake from trick flow. Will I notice any gains? Or should I just save my $1000 til I get some more money and buy some AFR heads? If I save and buy heads, will my stock intake and injectors work ok with it?

there ya go, edelbrock heads for $800
RPM 2 Upper and Lower for $350

so for $1150 (plus shipping) you can have heads, and new intake...

god i wish i had that money

to get the most out of new heads and cam, youll need a bigger t/b, bigger maf, and get a maf calibrated for, and upgrade to, 24# injectors
