306 Running like CRAP!!
i've got a fairly built 306, and it feels like it has no sack... it almost feels like its slower than stock. Below is the complete mod list. I know this is going to sound stupid butt it hasnt been tuned yet, could that be why it runs TERRIBLE?

New lower end, forged steel crankshaft, rods, & pistons
Clevite 77 engine bearings
New Oil Tank with engine rebuild
Roush 200 cast iron heads
o 64 cc combustion chamber, 2.02/1.60 valves
3/8 stud, 1.6 ratio aluminum rocker arms
ARP head bolts
Ford Racing Aluminum Valve Covers
70 mm BBK Power Plus throttle body & spacer
75 mm Pro-M Mass Air for 24 pound injectors
FMS 24 pound fuel injectors
BBK fuel pressure regulator
New fuel rail
BBK Cold Air Intake, in the fender wall
FMS Double Roller Timing Chain
FMS High Volume Oil Pump
FMS Hardened Push Rods
FMS Hydraulic Roller Lifters
o Timing chain, Push Rods, Lifters, all replaced with the new engine
FMS F303 Camshaft
Polished Typhoon Power Plus Upper & Lower Intake
FMS Hi-Torque Mini Starter
100 AMP Chrome Alternator
FMS Power Steering Pump
New 3 core Radiator
MSD 6AL Ignition Control
MSD Blaster TFI Coil
MSD Wire Harness
Also from time to time the pw or pl will stop working and the fuses will get scalding hot... any ideas? thanks[/align]

RE: 306 Running like CRAP!!
I have no idea, i recently bought the car. I had my brother pick it up for me while i was in iraq. Could the timing being way off cause it to run as bad as it does? it idles as best as it can with the cam, butt just lacks any power.. I'm planing on a dyno tune asap, but was just wondering what the issue may be

RE: 306 Running like CRAP!!
.... what compression is the car? check the timing...10deg with spout connector out is stock... it should like at least 14 or so depending on compression..... those heads aren't the best heads ever made either....the 200cc intake runners are a lot for 306in motor to fill up with air.... the air doesn't really have the velocity to fill the combustion chambers fast and really get to making some power.... thing may do alright in the upper rpm but again, those heads aren't the best designed head ever....as for the idle....get an adjustable fuel pressure reg. if it starts idle surging, or hunting, i've always had good luck with turning the pressure down....try that first and check the timing...if it doesn't run or idle better after those two i have a few other suggestions....hope this helps
