If you had my car, would you trade for this???
So this is what my car has....
1993 LX 5.0 Hatchback
AFR 165's
E-303
Crane Roackers
Edelbrock Performer 5.0 Manifold
BBK 70mm TB
MAC CAI
Fluidyne Aluminum Radiator
Flexfan
Crane Fireball Coil
Crane Ignition Box
MSD 8.5mm Wires
Granatelli MAF
MAC Ceramic Long Tubes
MAC o/r H
Flowmaster Catback
Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch
B&M Ripper Shifter
4.30 gears (still get 20 mpg)
Driveshaft Safety Loop
Battle Boxes
Subframes
Lakewood LCA
Lakewood 50/50 rear shocks
Weld Draglite's 15x3.5"/15x8"
New Headlights w/ Sylvania Halogen Bulbs.
And here is the car that the guy wants to trade me. I've been helping install my old exhaust on his car, and he wants to trade me bc he wants a car with the motor already built. I planned on ripping the motor out of mine anyway as soon as I get back to louisiana and building a 351. My only problem would have been paint, but this car already has it. Here is what it has...
The motor has just over 100000 miles on it and is spotless. Its bone stock with a BBK TB, C&L MAF and cold air, and MSD cap, wires, and rotor, and my old exhaust. Theres no rust. The paint is fairly clean, just has some orange peel and the normal rock chips on the front. Its got brand new black interior too. The guy wants to trade me even for it.
This is not the exact car. I actually think its a forum members. I save every pic of a fox that I like, so sorry if its yours. Everything is the same, except it has black 17" Cobras on it. I'll have pics of the actual car up tomorrow.

I would too, As nice as your engine and interior is, the outside looks like crap lol. I'd rather a nice conditioned stang, then take it from there. But also I dont like body work.

Thats the same thing I was thinking. This car also has black interior. It was originaly grey, but he painted everything except for the dash, and did the black interior kit from late model restoration. I actually like the two-tone. The only problem is, my car wont pass smog. He would have to pay around $300 to get it legal on the DL.

In California, if you buy a car and get it smogged, then decide to sell/trade it 2 months later, do you have to have it re-smogged?

I think Im gonna do it. Its gonna take some getting use to it .
3.55 gears and a basically stock motor is definately gonna feel awkward to me.
I could almost guarantee that all I would have to do is touch up the rock chips, then wetsand the whole car with some 1000, 1500, then 2000 grit, buff and polish it out and have a killer mirror shine on it.
Also, it has underdrives and an AC delete. The heater is also disconnected. Now that I think about it, it would suck having that car in La. Is friigin cold in the winter and hot as hell in the summer.
