i just picked up a 91 GT and im not very familiar with fox bodys. i need to get a new battery. whats the best battery to get? as far as mods it has underdrive pullys, the timing is at 13*, full exhaust, and a hurst shifter

When the battery in my 93 died I went to advance and got a 800 CCA Titanium battery that fits in a chevy truck (34/78). It turns the motor over without any hesitation. Your car has the same stuff as mine (I have a little more than you listed though) and I dont have any charging problems. Kinda rare on that since I am running the underdrive pulley on the alt.

optima makes good batteries, theres the red top which is good but if your running alot of electic stuff like amps and subs or speakers then youd want the yellow top.

Oh yeah.. and that'susing Underdriver Pulleys (including alt pulley)and a stock Alternator
