well it has been 2 years since i looked at this car. now it is time to put this car together. any one have any info for me. i want to put a 1993 tremec tko in my 1995 mustang with the 1993 347 motor. some say all i need is a driveshaft extension?
Has any one here done this?
also will 1993 headers and xpipe bolt on my 95 with a bit of love or is that a no go? Thanks wadman

headers and X pipe should NOT be used... get SN95 parts
to put the TKO in the SN-95 you will need:
Fox bellhousing
Fox clutch fork
transmission (durr)
SN-95 transmission mount adapter (manual)
Steeda 5/8" driveshaft spacer

this is from Tech Support Tremec transmissions
Well, since you are transplanting both, you don't have to worry about it bolting up, it already did. The shift position will be in the correct location and if I'm not mistaken, the crossmember will fit as well. If not, you'll have to modify your '95 crossmember. Other than that, it's a slam dunk. I know the '96-2004 mustangs have to put a driveshaft spacer at the back of the driveshaft(to lengthen it), not sure about '95.

you NEED a SN-95 manual cross member
you NEED the T5 transmission mount adapter plate (bolted between the trans and the mount)
and you NEED the driveshaft spacer

i can not find a T5 transmission mount adapter plate any where. do you know where i can find that? And will the whole in the floor match where the shifter is going to come up? one last thing what do you suggest for a shifter?

no matter where you go, nobody is going to have a clue what you are talking about when you ask for the adapter plate. You just need to get to a scrap yard, and get under an SN.

are you being sarcastic or are you saying that the plate is on an SN?
if i had my motor right now i would be under my car trying to line things up but i don't. and the reason i am asking every one how they did it is because i want to do it right the first time. and would like to have all the parts ready to go.
I will make a step by step thread with pictures when i am done with this swap.

im NOT being sarcastic... nobody will have a friggin clue what you are talking about.
go to a junkyard, and pull the plate that is between the trans, and the mount... you NEED it
it really DOES exist... just nobody notices...
thats a pic of how the mount is attached to an SN-95 T5
